Events.
Wombat Park Estate welcomes guests throughout the year for a variety of special events and open garden days that celebrate the beauty, heritage, and community spirit of this remarkable property. These occasions offer a rare opportunity for the public to explore the private grounds, taking in the grandeur of the Arts and Crafts residence and the extensive gardens that have evolved over more than 170 years.
Visitors are invited to wander through a rich tapestry of garden rooms, ancient trees, and meandering pathways, experiencing firsthand the seasonal beauty and layered history of the estate. From the grand elm-lined drive to the sunken croquet lawn and the tranquil “Deciduous Forest,” each part of the garden offers something unique to discover. Special tours may also be held, offering insights into the design, architecture, and horticultural legacy of Wombat Park.
Events held on the estate often include market-style offerings on the lawns, where guests can enjoy artisan food, local produce, and refreshments in a relaxed country atmosphere. Whether it's a garden opening, a guided tour, or a community gathering, each event reflects the estate's ongoing role as a place of beauty, learning, and shared enjoyment.
